COVID-19 Safety Considerations

The safety of Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club Members, guests and staff remains our highest priority and we seek support of Members and staff in restricting access to persons who:
  • Have not been out of the country for the past 14 days
  • Are not in self-isolation and not required to do so
  • Are not displaying COVID-19 symptoms or flu-like symptoms
  • Have a pre-booked reservation
Please do not come to the Club if you have a fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, or loss of sense of taste or smell – however mild. Contact the 24-hour coronavirus hotline on 1800 675 398 about getting tested for COVID-19 and what to do if you or someone you know tests positive, including notifying the Club.

Any person who experiences flu, cold or cough-like symptoms after attending the Club is requested to contact the Club CEO immediately by ringing the Club or by email to CEO@kooyong.com.au

COVIDSafe Plan

The Club operates a COVIDSafe Plan across the site and includes:
  • additional cleaning carried out throughout the Clubhouse including all equipment, handles, buttons and counters,
  • staff training in COVID-19 safety procedures,
  • temperature checking entering the clubhouse or around the grounds,
  • signage and posters providing details of government directives and COVID-19 processes,
  • hand sanitisers, antibacterial hand wipes, disposable paper towels, cleaners and gloves placed prominently around the Club,
  • doors have been locked open to avoid touch points,
  • daily supply of newspapers has been cancelled,
  • contact tracing of everyone who comes to the Club
COVIDSafe app

The government has introduced the COVIDSafe app to slow the spread of COVID-19 and allow outbreaks to be quickly contained. We encourage all Members to download the COVIDSafe app and ensure it is active while at the Club.
