Several young Kooyong Foundation players have had highly successful Australian Open junior campaigns.

Cooper Errey had an outstanding run making it to the Semi Finals of the Boys Doubles event.

Pairing up with Queenslander Marcus Schoeman again after their 18/U National title run in December, the pair beat the 4th seeds in the opening round, backing that up with some strong performances to eventually lose to the top seeds in the Semi Finals.

Roisin Gilheany also had a fantastic run in the Girls Doubles event, making it to the Quarter Finals with fellow Victorian Steffi Webb before falling to the 4th seeded pair from Japan.

Zara Larke had a gutsy first round win in the Girls Singles event defeating America’s Ashton Bowers 7-5, 2-6, 7-5.

In another close battle in the second round, Larke went down 7-6, 6-4 to French player Yaroslava Bartashevich.

Larke also made the second round of the Girls Doubles event with fellow Aussie Anja Nayar.

Well done to Cooper, Roisin and Zara on some outstanding performances!
