Foundation players have contributed significantly to Team Victoria’s success at the Australian Team Championships held recently on the Gold Coast, QLD.
Darren Lew and Jonathan Zhang along with teammate Raphael Savelli won the 13/U Boy's team event for Team Vic in an impressive display.
In the 15/U Boys team, it was an all Kooyong team with Lachlan King, Nicholas Baker and Ymerali Ibraimi claiming the National title.
“I loved being a part of the team environment and to share the winning moment with my team mates, especially all of us being from Kooyong. This certainly helped us having the camaraderie among the team” Ibraimi said.
Pauline Ma also represented the 13/U girls team finishing fourth.
With a total of 6 players from across the boys and girls 13 and 15 under teams,the Kooyong Foundation was well represented.
