If there is one junior tournament that every young player dreams of playing, it is the Wimbledon juniors event.

If there is one junior tournament that every young player dreams of playing, it is the Wimbledon juniors event.Roisin Gilheany, 18, realised this dream as she qualified for the 2023 singles event at Wimbledon.Gilheany came through the qualifying rounds winning both her matches in deciding third set tie breaks.She faced the UK’s Isabelle Lacy first round, going down 6-4, 6-2.Gilheany also played the doubles main draw at the junior Grand Slam furthering her tennis experience at the All-England Club.Impressively, she has broken into the world’s top 100 juniors reaching a career high 71 in the world after some strong recent results and continued development of her powerful game.
